Misdefined is to be featured on the upcoming release Stream of Consciousness due for April 9th, 2021 (delayed due to other projects as consequence of covid-19).

The album is stripped down to the very core with as little as possible interference between the initial idea & the final product. The lyrics are sung as they appeared in all their honesty. I carefully added one layer at a time around my guitar & vocal using only vintage equipment. All instruments are played by real people. The intention was to create a warm & realistic atmosphere where one can almost feel the human touch

The road to forgiveness is though and it's hard
Strips you of all of your pride
The spotlight shines down on you yellow and bright
There's no where for your shame to hide.

When I was a kid I used to look up
To people I later despised
Now I look down at myself and I see
A man who's heart's filled with lies.

But I don't want to be misdefined

I treated you badly
When I tried to be kind
So many misunderstandings
The road to hell is paved with good intentions
But that road also left me blind

I turned your whole life upside down
Never saw what you ever saw in me
The confusion of being loved by someone like you
Was supposed to set me free

I feel like a stranger
Lost In my own mind
I don't mind being different
But I don't want to be misdefined

My search for freedom is chaining me down
I'm imprissoned by my lonely dreams
I'm looking for something I'll probably
Never ever find in my time

But I’ll never give up
I’m not that kind of man
Cause it feels good to not understand
I stand here with my head held high
I’ll stand here till I die

And I do admit it really made me smile
